How To Help Your Man Overcome Premature Ejaculation

Premature ejaculation is the second most common sexual disorder experienced by men all over the world, after the “pennies size” problem. Although the man is always the “owner” of the condition, the impact of this disorder is felt by both partners. Unfortunately, most women do not get involved in helping their male partners overcome premature ejaculation. They view the condition as men’s business and expect the man to train himself and give her better sex experience next time.

The truth is to overcome premature ejaculation; both partners must be willingly involved. When a woman fails to approach her mans condition positively, the condition is likely to stay there for much long. The couple’s sex life is ruined as time goes by. This is because, the man tends to restrain from sex due to constant embarrassment. At the long run, both partners stop sex all together, the man becomes insecure and ultimately, a relationship is broken. But what roles can a woman play in helping her man to overcome early ejaculation? Here are some tips

1.      Love your man even more
A common mistake most women do when their men cannot satisfy them sexually due to premature ejaculation is emotionally detaching from their partners. Women should realize that however much they are frustrated by their men having PE disorder; their partners are even more frustrated. Love your man even more as he battles out with this disorder. Encourage your man to seek professional assistant. If it is necessary to see a sex therapist, accompany him. This is the time he needs you most.

2.      Learn to view premature ejaculation positively
Most women tend to think that it is only their men who suffer premature ejaculation. They think that it is a masculine problem thus their men are affected because they are weak. This is not true and when a woman makes her man feel this way, her man’s self esteem is greatly affected and his anxiety during sex is increased. It’s good to know that PE is an anxiety problem. Rarely will it be as a result of a sexual problem. Helping him work on his anxiety will help alleviate the disorder.

3.      Learn to experience more pleasure in foreplay
Performance anxiety is the primary cause of premature ejaculation. Encouraging your man to take more time in foreplay will make you experience more sexual pleasure through multiple orgasms. Your man will therefore be confident of your sexual satisfaction before penetration thus lowering his performance anxiety.

4.      Help him in the squeeze technique and masturbation
Among other techniques used to prevent premature ejaculation during intercourse is the squeeze technique. Holding and squeezing tightly the area between the head and the shaft of his pennies when he gets the urge to ejaculate will help him avoid and ultimately delay his ejaculation. Masturbating your man before penetration will also go a long way in delaying ejaculation during intercourse.

5.      Be supportive and understanding
It is said a problem shared is half solved. For a man to successfully overcome PE, his partner must be there for him. Being judgmental and bringing up sexual matters during normal arguments can be disastrous to your relationship. Appreciating his efforts to overcome this disorder will encourage him to fight though it even more.
